David Schaffer

David J. Schaffer’s law practice is focused in the area of oil and gas transactions.  He maintains a very active title examination practice involving complex drillsite, division order, acquisition and lender opinions.  David provides counsel to upstream energy companies with regard to their acquisition and divestiture projects, including drafting and negotiating exploration agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other transactions involving oil and gas properties.

David was born and raised in Tulsa.  Prior to law school, he worked as a financial analyst for a venture capitalist in New York, New York.
